A Touch of Understanding (ATOU) provides disability awareness programs designed to educate a new generation to understand the challenges associated with disabilities and to accept and respect all individuals. Incorporated in 1996, A Touch of Understanding is a nonprofit organization comprised of dedicated individuals, some with disabilities and some without.

The BCR

BCR is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation that has operated in the City of Burbank since 1963.  The Center provides day activity and extended day care programs, as well as monthly evening dances, for children and adults with developmental disabilities
